Peer Mediation

This program is for youth 13 years old and up.  They are taught to mediate through: fellowship, games, workbook study, and hands-on projects.  At the end of the year, a week-long trip is offered to enhance the training they have received.  We are currently accepting donations and/or sponsorships.  If you would like to be a part of this program or a supporter, e-mail us at olivebranchmin@aol.com or call 248-332-2929.

 

Pontiac Point of Hope

Point of Hope brings hope to the city of Pontiac and the surrounding communities.  This annual event takes place in various areas of the community and is a day of fun and optimism for everyone.  Local businesses, charitable organizations, and churches join Olive Branch Ministries, Inc. in hosting this all day event.  This event includes entertainment, music, kid's & teen's zones, as well as free groceries, hair cuts, health screenings, bike give-a-ways/repairs, and so much more.  It is truly a day that creates unity with-in the community.

 

Dream Team Summer Program

This is a six-week summer program that Olive Branch Ministries, Inc. provides to children ages 6 to 18 years old.  For a minimal cost, children are provided with tutoring in Math, English, & Reading from certified teachers.  They are also offered classes in: Karate, Choir, Modern Dance, Arts & Crafts, Drama and even go on field trips.  If you would like to participate in this program e-mail/contact us.

Toy & Gift Shop

There are so many people that have needs, especially during the holiday seasons.  Olive Branch Ministries, Inc. works to alleviate these needs by providing new gifts and toys to families during the holidays.  OBMI also donates to churches and agencies so that they can help provide for the families within their communities.

 

Understanding God Classes

At Olive Branch Ministries, Inc. we believe that it is important to have a solid understanding of the Christian Foundational principals. Therefore, we offer Understanding God classes (written by Patricia Beall-Gruitts). Classes run weekly for 16 weeks and a confirmation service is held upon completion of the class.

 

Women to Women

Olive Branch Ministries, Inc. sponsors a weekly group discussion for women, by women.  Join us each week as we discuss topics specifically for women which include but are not limited to: health issues, finances, family care, and parenting. There is a guest speaker weekly and anyone who attends receives a gift.
